Refugee-Led Organization Network of Malawi

Relon-Malawi is a network of refugees that aims to amplify the voices of refugee-led organizations, provide them with capacity strengthening, and provide resources in the form of subgrants and grants.

Vision

To improve the lives of refugees and host communities by promoting and supporting refugee-led organizations working in the humanitarian and development sectors.

Mission

To see a world where refugees take initiative and lead in interventions that improve communities.

Networking and collaboration

Facilitating connections and partnerships between refugee-led organizations, international NGOs, and other stakeholders can foster knowledge sharing, joint advocacy efforts, and collective impact.

Funding and resource allocation

Ensuring that refugee-led organizations have access to adequate and flexible funding is essential for their long-term sustainability.

Capacity building

This includes providing training, mentorship, and access to resources that enable them to effectively manage programs, secure funding, and advocate for their communities.

Advocacy and representation

Elevating the voices and perspectives of refugee-led organizations in decision-making processes and policy discussions is crucial.
