A Refugee- Led Organization (RLO), Family Health Promotion in Malawi (FHP), has called on authorities to remove the public disposal inside Dzaleka market alleging that it is a risk to the hygiene practices at the facility as food is sold inside the market.

The call follows an observation made by Family Health Promotion in Malawi during a sweeping exercise conducted inside Dzaleka market to uncertain hygiene practices that are observed inside the market.

During the exercise, it was observed that the dumping site in the market contribute to poor hygiene and sanitation in the market.

Refugee -Led organizations (RLOs) are currently engaged in various camp activities as one way of serving their communities and communities around Dzaleka Refugee Camp.
