Volunteer Social Work Agrobusiness Project Volunteer Social work, a Refugee Led-Organization founded by Raphael Ndabaga was granted 2 million Kwacha in 2022 by Relon- Malawi and used the funds in farming. Agrobusiness project of maize, beans, and Soya beans. Considering the food shortage that is being observed in the camp, the project has been a response to 40 vulnerable elderly people and widows. The cultivation was not easy because of the seasons but the harvest was beneficial for the targets. Food distribution to 40 direct beneficiaries received as follows; Beans (3 kilograms) Maize (15 kilograms) Soybeans/Phala king (15 packets) The farm produces were later distributed to widows and elders in camp.

Refugee Led Organization training

3-day capacity building for refugee le organizations aiming at building their capacity on organization management.
REFUGEE LED ORGANIZATION TRAINING
From 22 to 24 July, Relon Malawi organized a 3-day training targeting 30 Refugee Led-organizations RLOs and the training covered 3 areas. The covered topics related to organizational proposal writing, monitoring and evaluation, and management, budgeting and logistics. The purpose of the training was to boast capacity of the participants so that they can manage their organizations accordingly.

Refugee Led-Organization Network of Malawi RELON-MALAWI has today witnessed the launch of DEWEY COMMUNITY CENTER DCC and the kick-off of teacher training.
