A local Malawian Organization BetaORG on Wednesday donated 126 fruit tree seedlings to the Women Palm Tree Organization, a refugee led organization as part of efforts to improve nutrition at Dzaleka Refugee
Women Palm Tree Executive Director Kahozi wa Kahozi Serge commended BetaORG for the gesture describing the fruit trees as a sustainable intervention that will benefit the organization and the community in the long term.
The donated seedlings include mango, guava, orange and avocado trees, among others.
