RELON pumps RLOs with leadership skills

In a bid to strengthen RLOs with various skills, RELON trained HOPEDEV, Arise and Shine and Dzaleka Football in leadership. we believe this is an essential area for a smooth running of an organization, for one organization to deliver with diligence and efficiency, there is need for a strong leadership. RLOs were during the training equipped with technics to use in order to lead their institutions and also they learnt about characteristics of a good leadership.

Home Based Care, one of the Refugee Led Organization operating in Dzaleka provides health support to people residing in Dzaleka Refugee Camp. RELON Malawi continues providing various training to RLOs in various areas that improve the wellbeing of their institutions, therefore RELON trained Home Based Care in leadership in order to deliver services professionally and efficiently
RELON orients Women and Children Development support and Orphanage Foundation on constitution writing.

RELON-Malawi conducted an orientation with Women and Children Development Support and Orphanage Foundation on constitution writing. This orientation aimed at equipping knowledge to the two RLOs on how to write constitution of their respective organization and the benefit of having a constitution as an organization.

Dzaleka Sport association and One another Organization today participated to Management training organized by RELON-Malawi. we (RELON) believe that after this training, these two organizations will improve their management and improve services they offer.

DICA and D O Fitness Security are two organization registered with RELON-Malawi and underwent a training on leadership and Management that RELON organized. Leadership and Management are believed to be a key pilar in a organization and having skills and knowledge in leadership and management will strengthen these two organizations as they continue to render services to the people they serve.

This is one of the major topic covered for one of RELON’s beneficiaries. She Rises Organization was equipped knowledge on group dynamic. RELON believes that group dynamic is an essential topic to shape an organization. She rises Organization being one of the gender based violence GBV Organizations works closely with the refugee community to combat gender related issues.

It is RELON’s mandate to provide training to its beneficiaries (RLOs) and RELON trained Fitness organization on constitution writing. The training shaped Fitness members on how to elaborate a constitution that fits for their organization.
UN Innovation Fund Education through Play project

UN Innovation Fund Education through Play project Mutu Organization is part of 3 organizations, UN Innovation Fund beneficiaries implementing education through play programs at MUTU Organization. Kids are able to learn using play materials as one way of easing their learning methods. Mutu targets kids living with disabilities in Dzaleka Refugee Camp and make them feel participated in education through play.
Refugee-Led Organizations capacity strengthening.

RLOs capacity strengthening. Refugee-Led Organizations Network of Malawi Relon-Malawi organized a 3-days capacity strengthening for the benefit of 30 RLOs. The training aimed at equipping knowledge to participants for a better functional of projects they are implementing in their respective organizations. The 3-day training was centered on Monitoring and Evaluation, logistic and management as well as Finance. We believe that the lessons will cover the existing gap RLOs had in the mentioned topics for a better functional of their organizations.
God Friendly Ministry Education Project

God Friendly Ministry built a center for children’s sports and play and also covered school costs and necessary school equipment for 25 orphan children including refugees and children from the host community.
