CRS education project

In the year 2022, Relon-Malawi granted 10 Refugees Led-Organizations RLOs with 2,000,000 Malawi Kwacha each and among them is Children Relief Services CRS.

CRS used the fund in improving its learner’s welfare by purchasing office stationaries and the money assisted in paying teachers their monthly stipend.

CRS is a Refugee Led-organizations founded by Roger Shamavu and mainly focuses in education by teaching English as a foreign language to news arrivals and hair dressing and Cosmetology to girls in Dzaleka Refugee Camp.

Children and youths are enrolled in the formal learning programs offered in Dzaleka and elsewhere without language barriers.

We have a community that is aware about appropriate courses and programs to be offered by CRS

250 students enrolled in English as a Foreign Language Program.

46 students who have acquired CRS English skills went to enroll in formal schools.

38 students graduated in Advanced class and went to normal education, and jobs that require them English language.
