Who We Are

Refugee-Led Organization Network of Malawi Relon-Malawi is a refugee network founded in 2020 by a young refugee passionate for the well-being of Dzaleka residents and the surrounding communities, Remmy Gakwaya.

We are champion in improving the lives of refugees and the host communities by promoting and supporting Refugee-led Organizations working in humanitarian and development sectors.

Our Story

Refugee-Led Organization Network of Malawi Relon-Malawi is a refugee network founded in 2020 by a young refugee passionate for the well-being of Dzaleka residents and the surrounding communities, Remmy Gakwaya.

Relon Malawi focuses on amplifying the voices of refugee-led organizations, providing capacity strengthening to RLOs and providing resources in form of subgrant and grants to RLOs.

We are champion in improving the lives of refugees and the host communities by promoting and supporting Refugee-led Organizations working in humanitarian and development sectors.

Thanks to Cohere and Relon Malawi for the grant. Teen and single mothers, relocated refugees, widows, elderlies, youths recovering from drugs and alcohol abuse, and people living with disabilities were among the direct beneficiaries, Each beneficiary received maize, beans, and phala.
